Chitra Pullen
Founding partner and general manager
I am a lawyer by training, having qualified as a solicitor in England in 1994, and worked in some of the largest city law firms in London prior to our move to France.
At PRE, I deal with the day to day management, as well as all the conveyancing and business development aspects of the agency.
Outside of work, I love to spend time in my jewellery studio. I am also a keen cook, foodie and wine enthusiast, especially the food and wine of the Languedoc!
Richard Pullen
Founding partner and sales and marketing manager
I come from a sales background having spent over 20 years as a partner in a financial services consultancy firm.
I head up the sales and marketing team. We bring on character properties in the region for our portfolio, liaise with prospective buyers and carry out viewings. The best part of my job? Matching the right buyer with the right property!
In my spare time, I am a keen guitarist. I am part of a duo that plays at local gigs and events from time to time.

consolidate their administrative team, after 15 years in the
administrative and accounting management of a bank. This partnership is very
enriching and dynamic because we hope to develop the company in the coming

Laten we ons even voorstellen; Ik ben Edwin van Rheede en samen met mijn partner Wilfred Pol zijn we in 2017 vanuit levendige Amsterdam hier naar de côte du Midi gekomen om onze droom waar te maken; Het beginnen van een Chambre d’ hôtes en Gîtes. Tijdens deze zoektocht naar huizen in dit prachtige gebied, zijn we in contact gekomen met Richard en Chitra Pullen van Pullen France, die er uiteindelijk voor gezorgd hebben dat deze droom werkelijkheid werd. Door goed naar onze wensen te luisteren, een brede kennis van zaken hebben en de enthousiaste begeleiding tijdens de koop konden we sneller starten dan gepland. Inmiddels zijn we enkele jaren verder en ook wij hebben onze kennis en ervaring opgedaan over de huizen, het toerisme en de aangename dingen maar ook de zakelijke kanten van het wonen in dit gebied. Deze ervaringen en kennis willen we graag gebruiken om aspirant kopers te helpen en te adviseren onder leiding van Pullen France. Aangezien we zelf uit Nederland komen zullen we ons vooral bezig houden met de Nederlands talige geïnteresseerden. Ons doel is dat aspirant kopers zich thuis voelen, het aangename het moois te laten ontdekken maar ook de valkuilen en zakelijke aspecten te laten ontdekken met wat het leven en het kopen van een huis in dit regio te bieden heeft.

With my academic background as head of the cultural and language center at a German university,
I have taught German as a foreign language and English to international students for many years, including at universities in China and Kazakhstan e.g.
One of my focal points was intercultural communication and further training for lecturers, through which I was also requested by internationally operating companies for workshops.
After numerous trips through Europe and the world we fell in love with the courtyard of a vinery in Languedoc 25 years ago. So we bought a house there initially as a holiday home for our big family.
That’s how it usually starts…..
The beautiful, varied landscape, the sun, the sea, the climate, the friendly people, art, culture and history, not to mention the culinary delights of French cuisine, in short “l’art de vivre en France” or “the lightness of being” are very hard or impossible to let go of. Not for a second we have ever regretted our final move to France seven years ago.
By a happy coincidence I met Chitra and Richard Pullen and I am very happy to be part of the Pullen team, conveying my love to the south of France to prospective German buyers and guiding them on their way to their dream home here.

I have my background as a teacher in multimedia and art but then the love for France took over and now I work as a French teacher. Over the years, language has become an increasing interest for me and my next challenge is Japanese.
My husband and I have a great common interest in food and wine, which of course led us to France. For a period, we have also run a home restaurant in our apartment in Stockholm.
For many years, my husband and I nurtured our dream of getting a house in France and in 2018 we dared to take the step, much thanks to Chitra & Richard who guided us with a sure hand through the entire buying process. I now want to give back for all the professional help we received by helping Swedish buyers via Pullen so that they also feel as safe as we were when we bought our little “Jardin secret” in beautiful Aude / Herault.
